If this service is performed regularly it can help avoid emergency situations by clearing out pipelines before build up interferes with their function.
Russell Reid has a fleet of vehicles especially for this task. Each truck is equipped with a high pressure jetting machine capable of creating up to 4000 pounds per square inch of water pressure.
Combination Jet-Vac
Jet-Vac trucks have the ability to perform water jetting into pipes to clean them, and to pump waste materials out. These trucks oftern perform services for industrial, commercial, and municipal customers who require celaning of their lift staions, ejector pits, storm sewers, and catch basins. The Jet-Vac can clean out pipes ranging in size from 8″ to 42″ in diameter, by pumping larege quanitities of water through the pipes using 2000 pounds of pressure per square inch. This equipment is able to remove heavy grit, sediment, sludge and semi-solid and wet-solid materials.
